Chante has been a part of the O.R. Staffing Solutions' Admin team since July of 2021 and has been a Surgical Technologist for over 20 years.
About Chante
Trained in Arizona Chante has been a Surgical Technologist for over 20 years and has worked in the Chicagoland area as both staff and agency in multiple inpatient and outpatient settings across several specialties. She moved to the classroom in 2015 and built a successful Surgical Technology program from the ground up with the vision of continuing to move the profession of Surgical Technology forward.
Chante joined O.R. Staffing Solutions, in the field, in 2017 to help keep her skills current and relevant for her students. She made the transition to the internal team in July 2021 as an Account Manager for outpatient staffing and moved to Director of Operations in 2022.
What I do
I understand what it means to be an employee in the field and in the office and I am here to help O.R. Staffing Solutions expand to meet the demands of a changing healthcare climate while maintaining the company’s vision. As the Director of Operations, I support the internal team, look for ways we can move forward, and build and maintain relationships with our employees and clients.

Christopher W. Kent, CPA
V.P. of Finance
As V.P. of Finance, Chris brings over ten years of diverse experience and a foundation in accounting principles to the O.R. Staffing Solutions team. After earning a Master’s Degree in Accounting in 2015, Chris became a Certified Public Accountant and spent three years in public accounting performing financial statement audits, establishing his expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
Chris then transitioned into Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), spending three years navigating the fast-paced auto industry before moving into the healthcare sector. Most recently, Chris spent three years in nurse staffing with Ingenovis Health, where he honed his ability to balance complex financial landscapes with the unique demands of the healthcare staffing world.
In addition to his corporate leadership, Chris founded Accounting Execs in 2021, a public accounting firm providing specialized accounting, tax, and business finance consulting services.
Today, he leverages this comprehensive background to drive financial integrity and growth at O.R. Staffing Solutions.

Melanie has been an operating room RN for 15 years and has been with O.R. Staffing Solutions' admin team since 2022.
About Melanie
Melanie started in the operating room 18 years ago. She found a hospital that was willing to take her on and train her as a new grad nurse in the operating room. She drove an hour to work because she knew the OR was where she wanted to be and what she wanted to do with her nursing career.
Melanie worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities doing all specialties before moving over to the agency side, where she worked for O.R. Staffing Solutions for 5 years in the field before switching over to the internal staffing team in 2022.
What I do
As a Senior Account Manager I focus primarily on Outpatient Surgery Center staffing. This includes building and maintaining relationships with contracted and per diem employees as well as clients. In a nutshell, I am the liaison between outpatient staff and clients.
I’ve spent 30 years in healthcare, starting as a Medical Assistant in Family Practice and OB. After working as a school district aide, I transitioned into the ICU as a Patient Care Tech, where I later advanced to an RN in the same unit. I began working in surgery centers in 2019 and moved into a full-time role in 2023. My journey with ORSS began in the field in 2022, and I joined the internal team in 2025.
What I do
With a primary focus on Outpatient Surgery Center staffing, I act as the bridge between our per diem and contracted staff and our clients, building and supporting strong working relationships.
Melissa has been in healthcare for 25 years and an RN for over 16 years. She joined the O.R. Staffing Solutions' admin team in 2024.
About Melissa
Melissa has been in healthcare for 25 years. She started as a nurse’s aide while going through school, continued in progressive care/step-down, and then went to the ICU. She began working in ambulatory surgery centers in 2016, transitioned to full-time ASC in 2019, and started with ORSS, in the field, in 2020 doing local per diem assignments and contracts.
Melissa traveled to California in 2022/23 helping with a significant staffing shortage at an area facility. She joined the O.R. Staffing Solutions internal staffing team in 2024.
What I do
As an Account Manager, I do a little bit of everything. We work a full 360 desk here, meaning I can interview you, assist with getting you onboarded, ensure you are properly credentialed for inpatient contracts, and manage your extension process. I also work on maintaining ongoing credentials for staff so there aren’t any interruptions in work due to expired credentials. We are with you every step of the way!

Michelle Russell, RN, BSN
Credentialing Specialist, Account Manager
Michelle has been a nurse for 31 years and has worked with O.R. Staffing Solutions as an Account Manager since 2024.
About Michelle
Of Michelle’s 31 years of nursing, 26 have been spent in the Operating Room. Her career path began on a Telemetry/Cardiac Step-Down Unit, then moved on to a Post-Cardiac Procedures Recovery Unit, and Cath Lab. Later, Michelle entered the Operating Room first working in hospitals and then moving on to the Ambulatory Surgery Center setting where she spent most of her time and realized that was her passion. In addition to being a staff nurse, Michelle has also had the opportunity to experience OR nursing as an agency RN, with OR Staffing Solutions being one of the agencies she worked for. Michelle has recently joined the internal team here at O.R. Staffing Solutions as an Account Manager and she is incredibly fulfilled by her amazing team.
What I do
I am an Account Manager assigned to many aspects of the staffing lifecycle. From the very beginning with recruitment, to credentialing and onboarding, and ultimately to job placement, working mostly on the inpatient contract side. I will help guide you through the process of joining our team and I will be here to support you through it all.

Becca has been a part of the O.R. Staffing Solutions team since 2025 and brings over five years of healthcare recruiting experience, with nine years in recruiting overall. She focuses on travel healthcare recruiting, placing clinicians in inpatient travel roles and local inpatient and outpatient opportunities in the Chicago area.
Becca is known for her relationship-driven approach and commitment to making every clinician feel supported from the first conversation through the duration of their assignment. Tahj has been a part of the ORSS admin team since May 2024, bringing a background in computer science and visual arts.
Tahj specializes in bringing our engagement and artistic ideas to life. With creativity, a keen eye for design, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, he significantly improved our website, marketing practices, and social media presence.
Although his background in perioperative staffing knowledge was limited prior to joining the ORSS team, he has made tremendous strides in understanding the operating room. Therefore, he is also primarily responsible for facilitating communication with external partners on visual projects and several integrations, ensuring that we get the details right every time.
